Hometown: Phoenix, AZ
How long have you been in the fitness industry: October 2012
Worst accident ever: Skateboarding down the side road leading up to Squaw Peak Mountain in Phoenix, AZ (very steep and long). I was wearing only a sports bra and running shorts…
the road rash was so horrendous, the Emergency Room doctor thought I was in a motorcycle accident.
Favorite athlete: LoLo Jones – Shaun White – Dogtown and Z-Boys Skaters Tony Alva & Stacy Peralta
Other hobbies: I love to skateboard, been skating street and riding parks since I was roughly 10 years old. I also was a collegiate runner; although I no longer compete I still have the runners spirit inside me.
How important is fitness to you and how has it impacted your life: At first weight lifting and fitness was my only outlet when I was sitting out from a running injury in college. Then I started reading fitness magazines and became captivated with the models, making that my next goal; becoming a fitness model. Competing just HAPPENED, it really wasn’t a planned goal, but it worked out for the best.
I love this industry more than ever! My fans and friends make me feel so welcomed and loved for being an open book about my life and journey. It is truly humbling to receive emails from men and women of all ages, thanking me for being a real person, and being a motivational figure in their fitness journey.
